Watercooling Worth it or not??

My biggest "problem" is the GPU. It idles at 59-65 and when playing games goes up to 75-80. This seems to be a bit high.

without sounding callous, but what makes you think 75-80 is "high" for a gpu?

Have you got any references to gpu temps or a m8's machine (similar graphics) to compare it to? I too have a 4000+, and those temps you get for your cpu are spot on. Which means
1) airflow is adequate
which means, all is as it should be.

GPU's can run up to 110 without breaking a sweat, stop panicking

I Agree with werner, got a R9800XT which's idled at 70c and 85c for load, for more that a year without any issues.
It is currently cooler due to the fact that my ref coolers fan gave out and I needed to replace it so I got a Zalaman VF700-cu on a friends recomendation for silent cooling, a very nice cooler just a bit big.

Please remember we are talking about the old 32 bit AMD's which was hot, not the AMD64's that run very cool, and my reason for getting the water cooler was to have a very, very silent pc. can't even here anything else than the fan on my power supply, but just like broadband usage once you have got a water cooler or pelter installed you will overclock... Human nature maybe??

Well the CPU is not really a problem. It is a 4000+ and idles at around 36-39 with Cool & Quiet and around 46 without it. Load it sits at around 50. My biggest "problem" is the GPU. It idles at 59-65 and when playing games goes up to 75-80. This seems to be a bit high. I want to get the GPU to run cooler and from what I have seen in the past watercooling works well for that and at the same time I can get the CPU to run cooler. BTW the GPU is a 6800GT from Leadtek.

I have an overclocked BFG 6800GT. It idles at around 54 and maxes out at around 83 under very heavy load, so your temps are normal.
