As others mentioned here you don't really need an Anti-Virus but what I would recomend is an app that shows you what App has access to what. ie: Spyware
While some people are okay with their info being used and sold, you might not and for this purpose I would reccomed one of 2 applications.
1.) Loookout's Ad-Network Scanner & Detector
2.) Airpush's Ad dettector <-- My personal Fav
What they do is not scan and remove app's more like scan and tell you what applications has access to install added services, ad desktop icons and so on (The type of behavior that borderline on mallware) and you can decide to keep or remove said applications.
