line speed has nothing to do with latency as far as i know
anything over 384 should be fine for wow
someone said if data travelled at light you would get 100ms ping now if is travelling at 0.7% of light then a 400-800ms ping makes sense
Please do the math, I am tired of repeating myself if you are not even willing to read it. 400-800ms might be the satelite traveling time since that is ~40 000km.
And I said nothing about line speed or atleast bandwidth capacity. Packet loss was the issue, why does the person with the 24meg conection get such bad pings if he is living so close? He prob will get the same ping on any conction regardless of the bandwidth capacity.
