What do I do with R50K?

i have started with a company a while back that gives 10% per MONTH returns on whatever you invest and can be withdrawn weekly. If you are interested let me know

Are they in the loan shark business?
Many loan sharks charge 20% plus per month on small short term loans. The effect of the rediculous interest rates seem small on most loans that range between R1000 to R3000. Fee thus is R200 to R600 and most are only for a month or two term. But add 100s of these loans together and you make a killing. At some point you will need more capital to loan out and that is where they can benefit from someone investing R100k and they can easily offer 10% on it and still make 10% on it lending it out.

I also know of a company that used to do it differently. But you need a bit more than R50k I think. They use the money to pay their creditors sooner and thereby qualify for settlement discount. Your earnings are basically a share of the discount. Something like that.

Even the risky well-know-in-finance-media schemes give ~19% annually. Best not drag others into it, just make yourself rich if you have the grand plan, is what I say.

Just did some quick calculations regarding Fiza's investment opportunity.
If I invest R10000, and get a return of 10% per month, and I re-invest the returns, I will have:
After 1 year: R25937.42
After 5 years: R1173908.50
After 10 years: R137806123.40
After 20 years: R1899052764604.65

Yep, you read that right, after 20 years, you will be worth R1.899 trillion.
I will be selling all my shares tomorrow at 9am, investing in this opportunity of a lifetime and becoming the worlds first Gajillionaire...
