Well as far as I know the 1st of august is important to all adsl users because then tlekon drops their adsl rates!!!

This is what it means:

Good news I think thay may feel the presure rissing from the sno!

There is also the rumor that telkom will be capping local as of 1st August.
Only time will tell.

Yep heard that too!! That would would be the crapiest (if there even is shuch a word) that could have happend in our nice little country!!

I heard as well that the cap on local would only be on some accounts like the 2gb one and the 4gb and that the larger ones supplied by say axxess would not be affected! one can only hope i suppose.

But i think that axxess or your isp would have told us of such a drastic change in advance, don't you think?

It would be nice to know that axxess intends to keep up with the other resellers offerings.

Well I received an email from Franco basically stating that there will be price reductions and new packages ect. He cant give the details as Telkom obviously dont want it out before they announce it.

ADSL costs are too high for axxess to play silly buggers and this whole shroud of mystery bugs me. Rather they hadn’t said anything. The other resellers seem to be visibly improving their offerings.
