What increase/decreases fuel consumption?

There are 3 seperate Audi A3s :

a) Random meet on the street. No idea what transmission, modifications, chips (if any) etc etc it had, but it was a A3 2.0T S Line kit (silver T, so definatley not 1st generation). Rolling from 30km/h until about 150km/h. Dropped slowly from the get-go - not substantially though : his front wheel at my driver door at 30km/h and his front wheel at my rear wheel at 150km/h.

b) timgauls Audi A3 2.0T - very dodgy, as he claims he didn't know it was me and wasn't racing etc etc So I'm not sure whether we class this as a win yet? He's got a 2006 Audi A3 2.0T with factory DTM remapping taking it to 162KW. It's a DSG - but not sure about BWA. You can ask him.

c) The last one was tested on the Gtech (a random internet guy from another car forum). That, from what I've been told, was a BWA and DSG. He got a 7.3 and a 15.5 ... I got a 7.5 and a 15.5, but my exit speed was significantly higher (152km/h) I didn't meet him - but we both tested on the same road etc etc

Am I right in saying the majority of GTI's and A3's are BWA - and have been for years?

Oh ok, licence discs dont lie, if its BWA it will say BWA.
So whats faster a BWA GTi or a BWA A3(didnt know you get those).

Havent raced anyone lately except a TDi Sportline... what a flop, was in my mirrors after 3rd gear already....

I'm just telling you what I know from you and other VW/Audi folk. What doesn't exist? The A3 BWA? I have no idea ... I'll get his username or someting and get more info

Interestingly enough, traffic flow made a huge change to my fuel consumption this morning (sorry to derail the derailment and go back on topic)

but i got a light green that I normally get red, and yesterday when i stopped at work consumption was sitting at 14.8L/100Km, this morning it was 9.6L/100km
by getting the one light green i subesquently got the three after it green too, hence no stop start etc.
