What is your Steam Value?

When I was "forced" to sign up with Steam (the only way to play the latest Counter-Strike since the WON servers was shut down) I never thought Steam would be as massive as it is today. It may be hard to believe now, but for quite a long time Steam was pretty much hated.

Yeah, it used way to many resources back on XP and was buggy. They improved it quite a bit since the early days. Still prefer not using steam if it's a single player game, I feel depressed when I look at the hours spent gaming.
