What proxies do you use?

Hi there,

I'm new to the forum, so sorry if this Q was already asked.

I want to know what proxy software everybody is using. I basically require something that can log individual connections and also bandwidth limit certain users. I'm not too concerned with security at the moment so no built in firewall is needed.

Personally, I prefer wingate as a proxy server, it has many features, including blocking of websites etc (I assume you wish to use this with an internet cafe)

Another website, especially for bandwidth management side, I would recommend http://bandwidthcontroller.com/

You can have power over all machines, and limit each of their bandwidth, that way you don't get a bandwidth hogger that is downloading something at high speeds and making browsing for other people a nightmare
