I see you are interested in the banking sector. I studied a Bsc comp sci Hons at Wits(finished last year) and am now on a grad program at a bank, working as a developer. Very cool way to get in, and they even sent me on 6 weeks financial training (but i dont use much of it). The degree was 4 years, so if you are keen on going and doing a 4 year degree (3 years for undergrad) i would suggest you look at a Bsc. There are a lot of developers here who haven't got degrees, just diplomas and are doing a great job. Even some quite senior, so its not necessary to have a degree. I think they like the young graduates so they can "mould" them into what they want. Maybe get certified in a language you are very familiar with, and maybe you can get a job from there.
