I'm looking for 512mb of notebook memory 200-pin DDR 400 or 333. Can anyone direct me to some where that sells this type of RAM. Its for an iBook.
Thanks

burn, it'd be a WHOLE lot easier to answer your question if you were to say what part of the country you come from! ..that said, if you're in reasonable range of a PostNet (not JBay, from what I hear ;) ), your question is really easy to answer. You're welcome to PM me for more info, if you like.

I have upgrade my Acer 3000 Notebook to 1Gig, so I'm sitting with 2 X 256MB DDR 333 CL2.5s.

On the label it say:
Infineon [The name]
32MX64 SDRAM
256MB DDR 333 CL2.5.

I'm in JHB, Albertville area for those who are interested.

Go to the apple shop and have them do it. They will have the correct RAM, and its a bitch to open the ibook to put the RAM in.

uuum, person, it is not that much of a mission. there are manuals avaliabe from apple to do it. and i doubt that anybody wants to get ripped off by apple. They are insane: charge something like R1000 for 512MB stick...
