Which Android smartphone is tough as nails, ''unbreaable'' ??

In my Linux setup, I have been syncing through the Google cloud for some time now and also directly with my phones. Yes, it is super smooth and creamy. I use Evolution as a PIM and it is quite OK under Linux. Its Windows counterpart is unstable and messy.

I have also used Thunderbird mail client with Lightning pim add-in which also worked fine through the Google cloud.

If I stay with Linux and not want Outlook, I can save myself a fortune and stick to basic laptops and less extravagant phones.

Why not simply install outlook onto Linux?

Then again that is a subject for another thread.

MS Office doesn't work on Linux.

Yes, it does. Just drink some Wine.

Dude, you serious about being a Linux expert?

Why not just use Thunderbird or Evolution to connect to your exchange server?

Outlook doesn't run properly on Linux. Basically the only MS Office apps that run okay using wine are Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Install http://www.playonlinux.com/en/

Pick the office you have, insert DVD/CD. Install. My outlook have no issues. As for the Evolution recommendation, you know where you can stick that Program, f'ed up my data more then once so no thanx.

But like I said its something for the Linux threads.....

+1 for the Maxx + 64gig tf card + Rubber case

Splash proof, plenty of storage, battery power, good enough CPU and it had Ice cream sandwich (or it should)

About the syncing, there is a wireless sync program somewhere that should do the trick...cant remember its name though
