Hi, I need a new phone and have found out that the SE W810i suits my needs, only thing is according to MTNSP (via phone) they will only be available in April.
Any other suggestions? What about the Nokia N70?

I would wait and see if the Sony firmware is stable - a problem with my w800i. Also check if the N70 will run any decent applications such as browsers without hiccuping. I don't think the 'N' series had a smooth birth. It is a true Smart phone unlike the Sony. It is like a revamped 6680.

The w810i is really just an improved w800i with EDGE and some other bits like a better control pad BUT with less onboard memory. Expansion is great with the memory sticks and IMHO better than those wierd cards from Nokia.

Don't you want 3G??

I agree! But generally by the time SA gets the phones they have very stable FW. Its a vey nice phone!:)

I think I saw u say u on MTN, AFAIK MTN dont have the W800 and only vodacom from the 3 networks supply it... :)

But I think they realised their mistake and might stock the W810!!
