I was looking at which is the best server to start on. I see the SA guild on Stormrage but I also see that they have closed recruiting apart from druids and priests.

I started on Bronzebeard as it was a recommended PvE server in the new data center so though there might be less problems on other servers. Tried on some of the servers marked as full like dreanor but found that not many people in the newbie areas whereas tons of people in newbie areas on the new servers such as Bronzebeard. (opened a month ago I think)

Now that it seems the local version is going to be the UK import version (take 2 and Digital Planet are now offering it where previously they where saying comming soon) which EU server do people think would make for the best one to start out on on?

Dunno about EU servers :(

However the most fun people seem to have is on PVP Servers

Agreed, i started on a PvE server, got a lvl40 druid, then changed to PvP Sylvanus (EU). You cant migrate btw, you have to roll a new one if you move between different server types. Its definitely more fun. Plus, now and again i pop back to my old server, most of the lvl60 players have PvP turned on permanently anyway. I would roll a new char on a PvP server and go from there. There are quite a few SA players on many servers.

Our Guild, The Valheru Order play on the PVP EU realm Dentarg.

I've leveled 2 chars to 60 on a PVP Server and all I can say is that it can be pretty hectic and frustrating at times but it can be really fun at times as well.

Certainly leveling is less exciting on PVE servers but you do avoid those frustrating times when all you want to do is get that last few 1000xp for your level and that level 60 NE rogue won't stop ganking you.

How do you keep different chars on different realms? Is it just a case of logging on to the new realm, then creating new character. THen when you want to go back, you just select your old realm again, which will have your old characters stored?
