Who is using Writley/Google Spreadsheets?

I have just moved over to Linux and while OpenOffice is functional it isn't exactly brillian, so I have been prompted to begin playing around with writely and google spreadsheets.

I was just wondering who else uses them, my main hesitation at the moment is being capped and not being able to get ot my documents (also just got adsl ...)

Well define worse, I suppose - it depends what you need it for doesn't it? While I don't need colaboration I have played around with it and it is very cool (at least with spreadsheets...)

I've played around with it but don't (and would never) use it extensively.

Certainly there is room for improvement but it's very handy - especially if you travel.
