Will be old PC's that officially can't upgrade. Even my work PC upgraded yonks ago and it's been rock solid.

65% of Steam users still use Win10 and only 28% use Win11

I am interested to know if people in the business or professional industry are experiencing any frustrations or issues or software compatibility issues etc.

How good is the upgrade from 10 to 11? I'd hate to reinstall

This is what I want to know. Anything that stands out that is super frustrating>?

I had endless printer driver issues after upgrading to 11 so went back to 10.

This is what I noticed with an employee. Driver issues for monitors and sound equipment. Not sure if it is an isolated issue.

I was getting blue screens on my Nvidia Quadro every other day. I disabled it in device manager and all was well mostly.

I have a Dell Precision. Last thing I need is issues with Quadro. But I thought the point of Quadro range is that they make sure their drivers are always supported by windows, hence the premium price/

My personal preference is to stay on 10 for the near future. I don't see the benefit of upgrading.

Mostly windows support and security support. Cant risk that. So I guess at some stage have to upgrade.

Nevermind that Microsoft Teams and other applications have not been working this morning causing massive issues for me trying to have important meetings. Argh!

Well I have WIndows 11 on a home PC for probably just over a year now, and it's as good as WIndows 10 or maybe even better. The ONLY issue I had was with Gamepass early last year and I'm not even 100% that was related to W11.

Initially yes. Had some problems installing Sql Server. At the end of the installation win11 would block the service from starting and the installation would fail. Microsoft seem to have patched the problem.

Edit: Iirc they patched this about 4 months ago.

Microsoft teams not working today on PC. Get constant disconnections and currently it is basically useless and not even loging in.

Zero issues.
Theres no reason to not upgrade to Win 11 other than not meeting the hardware requirements, in that case I’d just stay on 10

Have not had issues. The laptop shipped with Win 11 though.

The entire purpose of Windows 11 IMO was to phase out older devices, the real innovation will happen with Windows 12

Don't know but will probably be enough to make those still sitting on Win 10 who can upgrade to
Win 11 to want to upgrade to Win 12 ASAP.

I'd personally want some competition for Apple with MS own version of the M1 and Win 12 is optimized for that processor
