I've searched the forum for any links or info about "must have/nice to have" software for wm5 but to no avail. Seeing as many people might look at getting a TyTN or any other windows smart phone I thought it would be a good idea to list applications in this thread that you think is necessary or cool.

I should be getting a HTC phone fairly soon, so I'll be watching and hopefully adding to this thread.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
 
Is there anything in specific you looking for? there are tons of applications out there ...

My top three must have apps

the Standard File explorer on WM 5.0 is not bad but it isn't great either ... i Use Resco Explorer 2005 ... It gives you a great expandable and collapsible view .. you are able to encrypt files and folders ... it supports FTP ... mapping network drives are a breeze ... it has a cool today plugin amoung other very useful features ..
TCPMP ... for me this is a must have ... Windows media player doesnt support half as many formats as this badboy that plays just about anything ... with pre amp settings and bass and treble controls you have more control over you sound ... the feature i really like about TCPMP is that it allows you to play Music and Video over Wifi ... something WMP doesnt allow ...
Memmaid ... really usefull for freeing up resources ... and getting rid of traces of apps that have been uninstalled but still lingers around
