Shot alot, will make it, just (as far as memory goes)!
and yeah, LabA, straight download in Opera, no plugins, no problems except for 384 line 40kb/s max = 18 hours!

Can the Dual Boot System be disabled?...
yes if you know your way around the Boot.ini file, and yes, the same goes for removing Vista from your dual boot config.

Well, using the java version of the download manager because Firefox does not allow ActiveX and it is working fine.
Downloading at a whopping 13KB/s with my 128k Sentech connection

I read somewhere that RC2 will not be posted to customer preview users as its some or other technical preview - will see if I can get that link again.

I just woke up and found that they have taken the RC2 download page off and made it redirect to http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/
I had less than a gig to go, damn it!
I was using the java download manager.
Sigh...what do I do now? Does someone know how I can access the java download manager again and resume the download from a different url, if there is one?

Both links redirect to http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/ for me.
The second one immediately, and the fileforum one when I try to download it.
I tried in both browsers.
I guess my best bet is to head over to the news servers

I've downloaded Vista off the windows site, but I see the help documentation (on the opening screen when you auto run the disc) keeps referring to Rc1, do I have a need for concern? How can I check the version before I install?

My download reached 85% and then reset and started from 0% again... waste of bandwidth...
So the torrent is running ever so slowly... - not in a hurry.
