WM Active Sync 4.5 available

Have been using 4.2, but I don't like the way it continuously syncs when connected via USB.

Mostly the problem is that when I plug in the phone to USB I lose connectivity to one of my external drives also connected to USB hub.

Hope this one works better ..........

4.5 however has eliminated sync via LAN & WIFI.
 
Any idea where I can lay my grubbies on Windows mobile 6?
 
The only way to get WM6, is to buy a WM6 device. Unless someone cooked a WM6 ROM for your device. Not many ROM's like that out there.

Wifi Sync was only supported with Active Sync 3.8 for Windows Mobile 2003 ..
Wifi uses a UDP connection ... active sync doesnt get along with UDP connections ... If you want to sync with Wifi on a mobile 5.0 device you can do this through an application called Pocket Controller .. www.soti.net
 
I really hope they will make an upgrade available to WM6 as my biggest gripe with WM5 is the fact that there is no support for HTML mail.

Obviously it will look dandy next to my "planned" Vista machine.

Funny thing with Active Sync, it disconnects my external HDD that sits on the same USB hub when it connects. It did this in 4.0, 4.2 and now also 4.5 ...... very sucky if you ask me and no solution for it.

Wondoze claim their are unable to replicate the error or some bull twang !
