Just wondering if anyone else is having problems.

For the last week our iburst has been basically useless, speeds of between 0.1 and 3kB/s. I phoned the hekpdesk and i'm not capped (to slow to check online) and they recon the Tower is fine :confused:

iBurst has been terrible here too (JHB) for about a week now. Pages time out like CRAZY, speeds are awful and loading more than one page at a time is so unlikely to work it feels like tempting the gods themselves.

Of course I don't expect this problem to get solved until 100 or so people complain and they actually do check.

Send an email to all of the addresses below; clearly defining the issue and including as much technical info as possible, e.g. pings, download and upload speeds, etc.:

i just couldn't be bothered to do their work for them.

Busy testing vodacom 3g at the moment. Hopefully its a viable option in our area.

Just a little update, i tested 3g last night and i got speeds of up to 973kb/s dl and 285kb/s upload :D

Cancelling iburst today.
 
I got a poynting antenna and plugged it in to boost my signal a bit and had to run the speed test twice to believe my eyes

1804kbps dl 230kbps ul. :D life is good again
 
Sorry should have read my post :o it does sound like i'm talking about iburst, but no its vodacom 3g/HSDPA.

I loaned a friends equipment to test the signal in our area, linksys router and a poyting antenna.
