WoW VOIP issue

For some reason I am unable to use the VOIP in WoW. I have it set up correctly (I have triple-checked it), yet no one is able to hear me nor am I able to hear anyone.

Any thoughts?

its actually sad that the ingame VOIP sux so much - is there a vent server in SA or US? Wow's ingame voice should be hosted externally, not on the same server as the actual game which is prob wat causes the issues...

Ive never used the ingame chat... no point when living in SA

i use skype for arena (2v2 tho)

I can hear myself fine on the mic test, I'm wondering if it isn't the lag that is causing the issue. Oh well, back to TS.

Have you made sure that you enabled voip in the Chat menu? and the Voip isnt hosted on same server as game. (Blizz has said that multiple times) but yeah the Voip does suck and is heavier on Latency than TS and Vent

I had a prob. with the VOIP to start with. The solution was to allow udp through your firewall as well as tcp (port 3724). Unfortunately the sound quality still leaves alot to be desired. Hope this helps.

Already forwarded the ports and have switched off Windows Firehedge.
