The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

Maybe the binary code got confused from all the zero's in Telkom's prices..........

that doesnt mean the site is down it means theres a misconfiguration somewhere in the httpd or server side software for http requests, maybe they're changing something.

Oracle HTTP Server/1.3.22 Server at www.telkom.co.za Port 80
Well Telkomonopoly have decided to tell us that they have Oracle under their bonnet...wow I am so unimpressed...

so you dont like apache? because the oracle httpd is apache with functions for the oracle database server, doesnt this site use apache? and like 60% of all sites worth mentioning on the net?

Slimothy, if your comment is related to my post, then you have indeed grabbed the wrong end of the stick, my post was saying that Telkomonopoly have decided to tell us what they have under their bonnet instead of actually serving up some content - I don't need Telkomonopoly telling me what they have under their bonnet...:)

Telkom bugs me (and the rest of South Africa) , many of these HTTP 500's occur on ADSL and dialup where they force you to use the transparent cache server, lease line users don't see this often.

it's a symptom of the cache server giving grief.
