Anybody know this version of the JasJar - it is released by O2 in the UK. Is it basically the same as the Jasjar locally. Does anyone know if a person will get back up service for this PDA/Phone locally if it breaks down. I can get one at a ridiculous cheap price (R3000) - it is 8 months old.

My prob is that it specifies LEAP encryption for wireless but not WPA. Anyone got more info on LEAP?

Any comments will be appreciated.

Is it the Black one or the silver one? Casings will not be freely available ... internals can be sourced ... The VGA LCD will set you back in the region of R2500 .. very nice device .. just dont break it .. that can be costly

It is the black one. Very nice at the price but the problem is you have to load an update to the WM 5.0 operating system to enable WPA encryption. You can only get the update on the O2 site and then you need to specify a valid O2 cell number which of course I cannot do, so it seems as if I am not going to go with it.
