Now running out of space on my C: drive, how do I add space to the partition? TIA

Right click and format. If you want to add to C:, you have to use something like Partition Magic. [edit] Might also be able to do this using diskpart (extend parameter), but I'm not sure of the usage. Last edited: Jul 26, 2006

Probably a fine app, that one would have to buy at some co$$$t ..GParted is FOSS: rather a lot easier on the wallet and can be downloaded, burnt to CD and used in one laughably easy trifecta.

I have used Partition Magic many times in the past. It is OK. But I do not trust it anymore. Seen some strange things happen with that program. Be warned. Busy downloading GParted at the moment. Not that I have anything to partition, but will try it soon enough.
