Hello. Does anybody have a "Working" Youtube Downloader Webpage Script for me? There are "supposedly" many on the net but I haven't found one that actually works yet. Thanks

Nah that would require editing on the clients side. Im looking for something I could role out onto a internal network so people can download videos without having to update or change something there side. a Web based script I believe would be the easiest.

take the youtube address and add the word Kiss infront of youtube so http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPnehDhGa14&feature=topvideos becomes http://www.kissyoutube.com/watch?v=vPnehDhGa14&feature=topvideos

Takes you to a download page.

HavocXphere & Pellito that looks very promising thanks. To the rest, one could just point the person to a existing downloader somewhere on the web. But you have no real control over it (Such as how long will it stay up or work before it bites the dust). Atleast if I host it myself I can be responsible for all aspects of it.

Firefox addon "DownloadHelper".

I could've sworn my previous plugin worked better, but after my last reformat DownloadHelper has been doing a decent job.

At home I often just copy the video URL into FreeRapid. Then I can queue a bunch of stuff in higher detail videos and download them in a batch to watch later with 0 delays.

There are a couple of basic youtube downloader scripts out there that will download the file in .flv format.

Question is: Do you want something more advanced that could download a youtube file to your server and then convert it into another format before the user downloads it?

Yes, they also exist, but the problem is keeping the script working when youtube changes their algorithm.

If you want the script for yourself it is fine, but if you want to start a website for the public, you are in for a bumpy ride!
