Was sent this quote, not sure where its from.

The hub has f*all to do with Telkom and there's nothing they can do about it. Chances are this 'member of staff' peruses hubs all over and that's how he found this one. Prolly downloaded everything he wanted already now he wants to score points at work.

Telkom has NO mandate, or responsibility to police filesharing networks. If they receive a complaint from a complainant, at best, they may be forced to reveal the identity of the person having had that specific IP address when an illegal file was spotted.

Telkom CANNOT enforce copyright law on it's network without a complaint.

I haven't used the HUB but it is a bit silly for Telkom to be watching this. Perhaps they are worried about bamdwidth again...

Local bandwidth isn't a problem for telkom.

Karnaugh: can you try find a source for this arb quote.
 
Kobie, Karnaugh said at the beginning that he DIDN'T know where the source was from. PLEASE READ BEFORE ASKING STUPID QUESTIONS
 
Dominic Rooney. This is now probably the THIRD time you've overstepped the line. You have an insultative, offensive demeanor. Kobie asked Karnaugh if he COULD find a source for the quote. Which is a perfectly REASONABLE post. You are the one being "STUPID" here.

I would also appreciate if Karnaugh could perhaps follow this trail back, from where the quote possible came from. It makes sense that the quote had a source somewhere, and it might be possible.

If you don't have anything to contribute to this forum, other than getting into people's characters, then don't post. Or should I rather say "Don't post Mr Rooney's son?" Which is it now? You, or the "fictional son" posting here?

Dominic Rooney please be a bit more considerate when you address your posts to other members, this is a public forum and MyADSL encourages opinions and you do not have the mandate to declare other posters validity. If you see an error politely point the error out with suitable reasoning, theres no harm in being civil.
