Free ADSL data coming from Vox
ADSL subscribers have been enjoying increased competition and better value for money in the local ADSL market, and this trend shows no signs of dissipating.
Vox Telecom was one of the first companies to respond to MWEB’s affordable uncapped ADSL offerings, and is now planning to launch a ‘free ADSL data’ offering as part of its Vox Telepreneur offerings.
Vox confirmed that it will provide DSL384, DSL512 and DSL 4 Mbps access subscribers with 1GB, 2GB and 3GB free data respectively. Access charges will be exactly the same as what Telkom charges, hence R152 for DSL384, R326 for DSL512 and R413 for DSL 4 Mbps.
The new Vox Telepreneur service is essentially a bundled ADSL offering at more aggressive prices than most competing offerings in the market, lifting the bar for bundled (one-price) ADSL services.
This service is likely to be available in early May.
