PlayStation Network is down
The PlayStation Network is experiencing a global outage, Sony confirmed on 4 January.
The outage appears to affect all aspects of the service, including account management, launching gaming and accessing social features, and the PlayStation Store.
Elsewhere in the world, Sony has confirmed that PlayStation Now, Video, Vue, and Music are also unavailable.
“We’re aware that some users are having trouble accessing PSN,” the Ask PlayStation account on Twitter posted. “Thanks for your patience as we investigate.”
Sony said its engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
