Eskom ‘Unavailable’
Users trying to access the Eskom online load shedding schedule service were greeted with the rather ironic message ‘Service Unavailable’.
The Eskom website, which boldly stated that there was ‘load shedding in progress’, invited users to search for load shedding schedules on their website. The service was however not available, leaving visitors without access to this vital information.
The possible consequences of load shedding were highlighted yesterday when Internet Solutions had to employ emergency measures to avert client disruptions after they were the victim of Eskom load shedding and a failed generator.
The Eskom Group Communication Department’s phone number was unavailable this morning.
