New SAIX news server

SAIX launched its second news server recently – news2.saix.net – complimenting its existing news.saix.net news server.

According to a SAIX notification last month the trial news server has been made available to all ADSL and dial-up users.  

“This server will have all the functionality of news.saix.net, but as it is being implemented as a test service, no help desk support will be available for the duration of the trial,” the SAIX notice reads.

According to SAIX the service will be available until 31 January 2009.
