Limited edition DStv Walka 4.3 launched
DStv Mobile announced the launch of a limited edition 4.3-inch Walka device in a press statement on Monday, 18 November 2013.
According to DStv Mobile, the device has a 16×9 aspect ratio and a battery life of 3. 5 hours.
“With the festive season just around the corner, we wanted to come up with a product that is fun and easy to use so that our subscribers don’t have to miss a moment of their favourite DStv shows as they go about their holiday activities,” CEO of DStv Digital Media (the company that develops DStv Mobile products), John Kotsaftis, is quoted as saying.
DStv Mobile said that coverage for its DVB-H network is available in the 10 major cities of South Africa: Pretoria, Johannesburg, Polokwane, Bloemfontein, Durban, Rustenburg, Port Elizabeth, East London, Cape Town, and Mbombela.
The Walka 4.3 will be available from major retailers at the recommended retail price of R699, “while stocks last”.
