Neotel NeoFlex pricing comparison
Neotel officially launched its NeoFlex data service this week, its first multi-user data-only product offering download speeds of up to 3.1 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 1.8 Mbps.
Neotel NeoFlex data subscribers have a choice between a 10 GB package for R 699.00 and a 15 GB package for R 899.00. These prices include the device cost of R 100.00 per month while the 24 month contract can be discontinued without any penalties except for the cost of the device.
These prices are however higher than Neotel’s NeoConnect service which provides 10 GB of usage, the device cost, 1000 free on-net minutes, 30 free Telkom minutes and 50 free SMSes for R 599.00. The 15 GB NeoConnect service for R 699.00 provides similar extras and benefits.
Both of Neotel’s consumer offerings have an out of bundle rate of 8c per MB, significantly lower than Vodacom and MTN’s R 1.20 or Telkom’s 30c.
