Pre-order iPhone
Vodacom is now taking pre-orders for the iPhone 3G, expected out in South Africa in mid-July.
Users eager to get their hands on the latest iPhone, announced earlier this week by Apple CEO Steve Jobs, can register on the Vodacom website to pre-order the phone.
"You can pre-order your iPhone 3G by pre-registering – available to anyone, not only Vodacom customers. Our iPhone sales team will be in contact with details, as soon as it becomes available," the company says on its website. (http://www.vodacom.co.za/acme/acme_details.jsp)
Vodafone recently announced that it had signed an agreement with Apple to sell the iPhone in ten of its markets around the globe, including South Africa.
