Macbook Air local pricing announced

Apple recently launched their ultra-portable notebook, the Macbook Air. The ultra-thin notebook with a 13.3-inch widescreen LED display weighs in at 1.36 kg.

The latest Apple laptop further boasts a backlit, full sized keyboard, built-in iSight camera and the option of a 64GB solid-state drive.

“We’ve built the world’s thinnest notebook without sacrificing a full-size keyboard or a full-size 13-inch display,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “When you first see MacBook Air, it’s hard to believe it’s a high-performance notebook with a full-size keyboard and display. But it is.”

The new MacBook Air will be shipping via Apple’s retail stores, online store (www.zastore.co.za) and Apple Authorised Resellers, for a suggested retail price of R16 999.
