SA team updates Firefox tool
South African emarketing specialists Quirk have released the latest version of Quirk SearchStatus, a browser extension aimed at search engine marketers. SearchStatus was created by Quirk chief technical officer Craig Raw.
Quirk SearchStatus gives users access to information on the site they are visiting including: Google PageRank as well as other page ranking metrics, keyword density, keyword highlighting and WHOIS information.
SearchStatus 1.28 includes for the first time the new mozRank ranking from SEOMoz’s Linkscape as well as a new private mode in which ranking providers such as Google and Alexa are not contacted automatically.
