Neotel Network Problems

Over the past week Neotel’s residential and small business clients have been dogged by network and Internet related problems.

The latest round of difficulties started yesterday.  Neotel’s NeoConnect and NeoFlex clients were unable to access online resources.  According to Neotel’s helpdesk they are well aware of the problems and they are trying to resolve it as soon as possible.

This most recent set of problems comes only days after Neotel subscribers complained about slow speeds on the network.  According to consumer feedback Neotel is not delivering the average speeds they advertised, something which may be related to network configuration problems.

“Neotel are having major configuration issues with their network. Apparently they aren’t realising anywhere near the average speeds they have been advertising. These issues apparently affect large portions of the CDMA network,” said one source.

MyBroadband tried to get comment from Neotel about the network issues and Internet problems since last week, but to date the company has not responded.
