MWEB ADSL problems resolved

MWEB’s international ADSL connectivity issues today (12 January 2012) seems to have been caused by DNS problems. The issues have, however, been resolved.

Many MWEB ADSL subscribers complained about struggling to access international websites and services on Thursday morning.

MWEB ISP CEO, Derek Hershaw, says that initial indications are that the international connectivity problems were caused by a DNS issue. Hershaw said that the international cable systems are fine.

The issue was resolved shortly after 13:00, and users should be able to access international websites without any problems.
