Free FNB ADSL data bundle boost on the way
FNB Connect is planning to increase the value of its free monthly ADSL data bundles. This is according to Farren Roper, head of products and markets at FNB Connect.
FNB Connect, the Internet Service Provider (ISP) of FNB, currently offers a range of free data and data access sites to qualifying cheque account customers.
“We are currently looking at ways of increasing the free monthly data component. We will be making a more detailed announcement to our clients soon,” said Roper.
FNB’s plans to boost their free ADSL data allowance comes less than a week after the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) announced that wholesale ADSL IPConnect prices would drop by 30%.
It is understood that an announcement from FNB about their free data packages is expected as soon as Tuesday.
