ABSA downtime planned – details

ABSA has warned clients it will experience downtime this weekend as it upgrades its systems.
The bank sent out notifications to clients warning that digital banking will be unavailable from 22:00 on 9 April 2016 until 08:00 on 10 April.
The downtime affects its online, app, and mobile banking channels, where clients won’t have access to data or airtime top-ups, and won’t be able to pay for electricity or transfer funds.
Clients will still be able to draw cash and swipe their cards for purchases, said ABSA.
