Neotel has stated that its CDMA customers are still experiencing slow data speeds due to a fault in its network.
MyBroadband recently received complaints from multiple Neotel users who said their wireless service had been down since the end of July, while others complained of slow download and upload speeds.
Neotel issued the statement below on 8 August.
Neotel and its vendor partners have been working around the clock to resolve the CDMA matter.
While services are available and functional, we know that many of our customers are experiencing slow data speeds.
Our team is seeking alternatives to permanently resolve the matter, without further compromising services and customer experience.
We apologise for the inconvenience and would like to thank our customers for their patience during this time.
