Uncapped ADSL 384Kbps pricing slashed
Openweb today announced that they have launched a “384k Standard Uncapped promotion”, reducing the price of their 384Kbps uncapped ADSL accounts from R219 per month to R139 per month.
“This uncapped account is identical to the Standard Uncapped offering selling for R219 per month. Clients will now, until the 15th of July 2011, be able to get a 384k Standard Uncapped account for only R139 per month, for life (or until they cancel),” said Openweb founder Keoma Wright.

- P2P, torrents and similar is shaped
- 1 concurrent ADSL line connected at a time
- 30 day cancellation notice before month end if you wish to cancel

“Entry level uncapped accounts are inferior, as they generally only offer browsing. We have decided to give South Africa a superior all rounder package at an affordable rate”, said Keoma Wright, Founder of OpenWeb.co.za.
By way of comparison, MWEB’s 384 kbps “Bigtime surfer” uncapped ADSL package costs R219. This promotion also compares well against other similar products that typically go for R199 per month.
