Afrihost slashes mobile data prices
Afrihost announced today (14 November 2013) that it is offering double the data on its standard mobile data packages until the end of February 2014.
“Afrihost are rewarding their clients by doubling their data from 1 December,” Afrihost said in a press statement. “Any client on a standard package will receive double their data allocation for the same price.”
Afrihost explained that a client who previously had a 1GB package for R99 per month, for example, will now receive 1GB plus 1GB free for the same price.
This means that Afrihost essentially halved the price of its standard mobile data packages until February 2014.
Afrihost will also be introducing 5GB, 7GB and 10GB mobile data packages – also with double the data.
The new packages will go live for new signups from today (14 November 2013), and existing clients will receive the free data from 1 December.
“All mobile data prices and promotions will be guaranteed until the end of February 2014, when they will be reviewed,” Afrihost said.
