OpenView HD user numbers revealed
OpenView HD has exceeded the 350,000 activation mark, said the free-to-view satellite TV service’s operator Platco Digital.
“We have seen an exponential growth over the past year, thanks to a renewed strategy,” it said.
The announcement comes after Platco Digital’s update in August 2015 that it had reached the 200,000 activation mark.
Platco, which is a sister company to E-tv, launched OpenView HD in October 2013, offering a satellite TV service for the cost of a decoder, dish, and installation.
OpenView HD charges no subscription fee, and offers content in 720p, where possible, on channels such as eHD, eToonz+, eKasi+ , eMovies+, and Beatlab.tv.
