Adblock Plus users face challenges with YouTube
Adblock Plus users are reporting that YouTube shows them an error message instead of advertisements.
The message “An error occurred. Please try again later” appeared for many Adblock Plus users who were accessing the video website.
Venturebeat reported that the error message is only shown for the duration of the advertisement, which means that Adblock Plus is technically still blocking YouTube ads.
“Adblock Plus has removed YouTube ads successfully for years, but sometime in the past week something broke down,” said Ventureburn.
