DStv Food Network launched
Food Network will be added to the DStv platform from 2 December 2010. This 24-hour channel will be available to all DStv Premium and Compact subscribers on Channel 185.
“Food Network delivers a fresh approach to food programming and celebrates everything that is bold, fun and entertaining about the genre. The channel offers a combination of credible cooking, new ideas and high-energy entertainment to inspire foodies and non-foodies alike,” MultiChoice said in a press statement.
Food Network’s programming features Iron Chef America, Chopped and Food Network Challenge, alongside daytime shows hosted by Barefoot Contessa with Ina Garten, Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives with Guy Fieri, Lawson, Throwdown with Bobby Flay and 30 Minute Meals with US celebrity chef Rachael Ray.
