Rio Olympics in VR
ABC News reported that NBC will offer 85 hours of virtual reality programming on the 2016 Rio Olympics.
The programming will only be available to Samsung Galaxy smartphone and Gear VR headset users.
The VR programming will include the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, men’s basketball, gymnastics, track and field, beach volleyball, diving, boxing, and fencing.
There will also be highlight packages which will be shown in virtual reality.
