DStv on Demand Online grows with more ADSL ISPs

MultiChoice re-launched its DStv on Demand Online service in May 2010, offering Internet users access to a wide range of video content including movies, series, sporting action, kids’ shows and documentaries.

At launch the online DStv service was only be available to MWEB ADSL subscribers, but MultiChoice announced in August 2010 that three additional Internet Service Providers (ISPs) – Vox Telecom, Neology and CyberSmart – joined them as distribution partners for its DStv On Demand online service.

More good news is that DStv On Demand Online will soon be available to FNB Connect and iBurst.

“Currently CatchUp is available to all MWEB, Vox Telecom, Neology and CyberSmart customers, and we are in the process of integrating FNB Connect and iBurst. The DStv On Demand service will be available to their customers soon,” said MultiChoice.

With the increase in ISP support the DStv Online service has enjoyed strong growth. “DStv On Demand has enjoyed great success amongst the MWEB subscriber base and we have steadily been making the service available to an ever expanding base of ISPs to ensure that a quality online CatchUp service is available to their customers,” said MultiChoice.
