DStv Now to launch for all DStv subscribers
MultiChoice will make DStv Now available to all its subscribers before the end of the year.
This follows the streaming service opening to DStv Compact and Compact Plus subscribers earlier in 2017.
DStv Digital Media head Graeme Cumming said the plan is to open DStv Now to subscribers on DStv Family, Access, and EasyView before Christmas.
DStv Now lets clients stream on-demand content and live DStv channels, based on the package they are subscribed to.
Content may be streamed directly, or downloaded for offline viewing.
Users can access DStv Now through a web browser or an iOS and Android app. You may register up to four different devices on the same account.
Cumming also announced that the expiry of content downloaded for offline viewing has been extended from 7 days to 30 days.
Comedy Central has also been added for streaming through DStv Now.
