Cell C Black streaming box launched
Cell C has launched the blackBOX, a multimedia device for its Black service.
The device lets you access Black streaming services on your TV, including the live streaming of channels available through Black TV.
The blackBOX is built by Israeli company Comigo, runs on Android, and comes with a remote that sports a full QWERTY keyboard on the back.
It supports full HD output, but does not support third-party media playback – it is locked to the Black service.
Cell C said it turns “any television into a smart TV”, and offers Internet-connected features – such as access to football club Facebook pages when watching an English Premier League match.
Price
The blackBOX will be available from Cell C for R1,499.
Pinnacle 1000 and Pinnacle Unlimited subscribers on 24-month contracts will receive a free blackBOX when they sign up.
