DStv gets new channel in SA
MultiChoice recently added AfricaMagic World to DStv’s channel selection in South Africa for Lite, Compact and Premium subscribers.
AfricaMagic World was added to the IS20 platform on 5 March 2013, though it has been available in the rest of Africa for some time.
According to MultiChoice, the successful launch of and migration to the Intelsat–20 satellite enabled them to add the channel to their South African offering.
AfricaMagic World is a general entertainment channel that offers a wide range of African programming to audiences, MultiChoice said. This includes re-screenings of series and movies that they may not have had the opportunity to view previously.
