MTN management changes

MTN has appointed Stephen van Coller as Vice President of Strategy and Mergers and Acquisitions, effective 1 October.
Stephen will be the fourth Vice President of the group, with the other three having responsibility for the geographic operating regions of MTN.
Stephen is a chartered accountant, and has 20 years of experience in financial services.
“We expect to announce a Deputy Head of Mergers and Acquisitions shortly,” said MTN.
Brett Goschen, the Group CFO, will leave MTN on 30 September “to pursue other interests”.
Consequently, he will resign from the MTN board of directors as an executive director.
Gunter Engling will assume the position of Acting Group CFO until a permanent CFO is appointed.
Gunter is a chartered accountant who is currently CEO of MTN Rwanda.
